A bomb's explosion leaves an officer and his dog in critical condition. In order to save at least one of them, the intact parts were sewn together. And TA DA! Dog Man was born! He would rejoin the police force and become the hero the city needs. Except... that's not what happens. Instead, Dog Man is labelled as an abomination and locked away for his mere existence. As both his worldview and his view on himself crash down on him, he decides to place his trust in Petey, the world's most evil cat, who saves him from this predicament. But for what reason? Originally posted on AO3 back in October and continually updated since, I thought, "Hey! Why not bring it here?" And so I did. And now the people of Wattpad also get to see my stupid, poorly-written fanfic. Enjoy! Or don't. Either way. WARNING: This fic contains OCs (no OC x canon though), stupid ideas, events in which any relation to real-world events is purely coincidental, guns, blood, vomit, weird stuff, cringeworthy stuff, character death, implied sex, body dysmorphia, depression, and... consequences.
