A bomb's explosion leaves an officer and his dog in critical condition. In order to save at least one of them, the intact parts were sewn together. And TA DA! Dog Man was born! He would rejoin the police force and become the hero the city needs. Except... that's not what happens. Instead, Dog Man is labelled as an abomination and locked away for his mere existence. As both his worldview and his view on himself crash down on him, he decides to place his trust in Petey, the world's most evil cat, who saves him from this predicament. But for what reason? Somehow he ends up replacing his cat and is now being pet by the demon. In an effort to escape Tom sings a lullaby, unfortunately, this backfires and now the demon wants to keep Tom as a pet.
