Many would go to great lengths to possess the imagination of a child, where nothing is impossible. It is a power that not only enables one to create an Imaginary Friend but to also 'destroy' it.

A Power that Natalie still possesses even at the age of 18. Such a pity she doesn't know it.

But someone does.

And they're willing to kill for it.

The Repository of Imaginary Friends has been taken over and its walls are no longer safe. Their rooms, once a place they willingly returned to until their child needed them, have become prison cells while they serve as test subjects for an experiment. One that will force the realms of imagination and reality to collide, providing the ultimate means of revenge. He was wronged; now, they will pay.

The Repository's only Saviour is Natalie's childhood imaginary superhero, Captain Freedom.... And he's gone missing.

This was originally written for the ONC2025 but was not completed in time. So, I am completing it outside of the competition.

Prompt # 105: Your childhood imaginary friend, who disappeared years ago suddenly returns - only this time they're real.

The aliens came here for one thing, and one thing only.... Females. ( This story is only available through inkitt or galatea!!!) (some read events may apply) (check update chapter for more details!) Humans believed they were the only intelligent life to exist... that it was impossible for another species to evolve in a way where they could prevail in something as great as space travel. humans believed they were supposed to be the most technologically advanced species and the alpha predators... They were wrong. The Xandisians evolved in ways humans never could have imagined, they are natural-born killers with phenomenal strength and agility. Their kind never went through the same devolution as humans, they never lost their natural instincts to hunt, kill, or breed. With their limitless potential and monstrous strength, they faced few threats and could survive almost any threat that befall their species, almost. After an incurable sickness washes over the planet of xanadis, the majority of the female, young and elderly, and vulnerable population is all but wiped out, leaving a small portion of the male population to face the threat of extinction. With no choice but to look to the stars for a means to save their kind from complete annihilation, the xandisians set out to find a race compatible with their own. after many years and countless failed expeditions, they finally find a species that matches their base DNA on a planet called Earth. The only issue now is how humans will react. (Book 2 LTF series) (CAN be read as a stand alone, but not recommended for nostalgia reasons~) (ps this is UNEDITED, grammar and spelling mistakes will ensue!) (NOTE: THIS IS ITS OWN STORY NOT A CONTINUATION. SAME CHARACTERS BUT DIFFERENT PLOT.)(Last to fall au/spin-off)

My crew and I take the jobs we need to survive in a world overrun by aliens. We fly a stolen ship that once trafficked women-us included. Now, we make our own rules and do whatever it takes to stay free. My latest job? Rehabilitate a Zohra-a towering alien locked away in prison, meant to be tamed into usefulness for his captors. Then I meet him-my job, a mute Zohra. And that's when everything goes sideways. Rescuing him wasn't in the plan, yet now we're on the run, supposedly relying on each other... except I'm the one doing all the work. He's frustrating. Completely useless. A liability, really. And yet, for some ridiculous reason, I just can't leave him behind.
