"Jeremiah?" The older man questioned, which made Jeremiah even more confused. It was one thing to not remember someone he'd seen in the newspaper, it was another to forget someone he'd meet, who knew his real name and not Xander Wilde.
Jeremiah knitted his eyebrows together, wishing more than anything he was made in his maze. "Xander Wilde, actually," He corrected him, lying as he placed one of his hands in his pocket. "And you are?"
The older man seemed slightly amused by Jeremiah's answer and question, the corner of his mouth turning upward.
