"Jeremiah?" The older man questioned, which made Jeremiah even more confused. It was one thing to not remember someone he'd seen in the newspaper, it was another to forget someone he'd meet, who knew his real name and not Xander Wilde. Jeremiah knitted his eyebrows together, wishing more than anything he was made in his maze. "Xander Wilde, actually," He corrected him, lying as he placed one of his hands in his pocket. "And you are?" The older man seemed slightly amused by Jeremiah's answer and question, the corner of his mouth turning upward. *** Because of the lack of time travel fanfic and chatfic for Gotham, I decided to write my own. You thought you knew everything about Jerome Valeska. He was your best friend. He was your boyfriend. You loved him. But seeing him transition to the insane, psychotic villain, you knew that he was not the Jerome you grew up loving. He changed and got arrested and you moved on. So why does a part of you still miss him? Why does a part of you still love him? And how will you react to seeing him again? ------ This is on my ao3 but I decided to put this on here too
