This book is a portal fantasy. There is adventure but also stupid puns. Uh, there's a plot. This dude from Earth ends up in a fantasy world after a bad breakup and goes about making himself whole again. He befriends a talking skeleton, and they go save a princess. There's a really old wizard named Beers who does beer magic. There's a fairy excited to see the wider world. There's a sexy, hot, evil enchantress with a thing for spiders who dissects living people and who may or may not be a love interest. Did I mention the puns and absurdity and cultural references? They have nothing to do with the plot.
