Sephon is the beloved prince of a kingdom named Solenia. He's handsome, smart, kind, and completely perfect. He is to his people what the Sun is to its planets. He's magnificent. Too magnificent. Iccefar is an assassin, belonging to the Blackthorne Syndicate. He's cold, and he's the best assassin out there. When a foreign kingdom calls upon him to execute Sephon, he does as instructed. Dagger in his bag and wearing a tailored suit, he enters the kingdom with a simple plan: Enter the kingdom and visit the palace, then gain the prince's trust before quite literally stabbing him in the back. He would've never even imagined what happened next.

A powerful sorceress. A dead heir. A vengeful prince. Four years after being imprisoned for the murder of the Ichigan heir, Diana is offered a deal from the man who hates her the most: the brother of the man she murdered. The deal entails aiding the kingdom in their war in exchange for her freedom. While spending time with Liam, however, Diana finds herself beginning to fall for him. These feelings arouse guilt and shame within the young sorceress for falling in love with her dead lover's brother. Prince Liam's kingdom is on the brink of being conquered. Out of any other options, Liam turns to his greatest enemy for assistance with the plan to kill her once the safety of his kingdom is restored. As time goes on, Diana's guilt is called into question causing Liam to launch a secret investigation. As Diana seems more and more innocent, Liam is left with one question in his mind: if Diana did not murder his brother, who did?
