In The Midst Of Chaos

Living in the mountains is something people would think a lot about before actually doing. Did I do the same thing? No.

Life in the mountains is good; uncomplicated and predictable. Spending my days in the warmth of the forest sun, on the soft grass - among the precious life of the planet - is what I needed in life. To put it simply, life has never been better. But peace isn't something I can hold in my palms for too long. It all comes crashing down when a man seeks shelter at my cabin in the middle of the storm. I would like to call it a normal occurrence but as the storm continues, I realize this situation I'm in is far from normal - it demands from me my peace, and calls for great sacrifice: things I am unwilling to give away.
