The ARK was originally meant to be a scientific research facility, serving as a hub for advanced experiments and research, many of which were aimed at developing groundbreaking technologies, including the creation of Shadow himself. Edward Grahams, a young man who has an association community that involves the secretive project, as his role of biotic research in experimentation giving his respect for life and ethics with his focus of biological manipulation and enhancement of living beings, however, he might uncover the hidden truth of Shadow's origins and his inner conflict towards his work under supervision by the organization's military-driven goals, which Edward questions about Gerald's true methods than moral implications. Over time, he could come to the realization that, despite his social awkwardness and his reliance on logic and reason, the real world isn't always black-and-white. His journey might involve moving from passive participation in a morally gray project to taking an active stand against it-perhaps even risking his career or life to protect Shadow from becoming the weapon G.U.N. envisions it.
