Gone Rogue

"There she is! The dragon lady!" A young girl shouted, the villagers gathering around the street, cheering and calling out to her as she sat on her dragon's back.
She was looking at them one by one, confused and shocked. They didn't see her as a criminal anymore, but as a hero. And somehow, she hated it.

The dragons were beautiful beasts of power. Their hearts pure like magic. The Dragon Hunters were aware of the enchanting hearts these flying beings held. That's why they didn't hesitate when they got the job of exterminating them. They took the hearts, squeezed out the blood and drank it for the powers it promised.

But now, four hundred years later, a singular dragon egg was found back, the dragon cub alive inside. And this egg has fallen into the hands of a girl gone rogue.
Who sent them was unknown. But they hadn't counted on a girl gone rogue.
