Red Vines and Kryptonian Hearts

Superboy has always been a man of passion. With his Kryptonian DNA and Cadmus conditioning, emotions burn hotter in him than they do in ordinary men. He's been with more than a few of his teammates-Miss Martian, Wonder Girl, Batgirl (Cassandra Cain)-but none of it ever stuck. Now, he's in a relationship with Mary Marvel, and for the first time, he wonders if he's found something real.

But fate, and Gotham, have other plans.

After a mission gone wrong, he crosses paths with Poison Ivy, the infamous eco-terrorist and one of Gotham's deadliest women. She's everything he's been warned to avoid-dangerous, cunning, seductive-but the encounter leaves something inside him... changed. At first, it's subtle: his body feels off, the scent of flowers lingers in his thoughts, and his dreams are haunted by emerald eyes. Then, the real problem begins.

He starts resisting Mary's touch. Other women don't interest him the way they used to. His mind is pulled toward one woman-one woman alone. Ivy.

As he investigates what happened, he's drawn into Gotham's underbelly, caught between his loyalties to the team, his failing relationship, and an undeniable, slow-burning connection with the very woman who might have altered his fate forever.
