The Earth is changing-not through war, climate, or disaster, but through an impossible, ceaseless expansion. Every year, new land emerges at the planet's edges, stretching its surface ever outward. To navigate this phenomenon, the Union of the Seven States sends explorers beyond the known world. Some return with knowledge, others with warnings. Many never return at all. But there is another secret the Union keeps hidden. Long ago, there were not seven states, but eight. The Eighth State did not vanish by chance-it was erased. Its lands, its people, and its purpose faded into history as the Union quietly claimed what remained. Their export, once vital, became obsolete. Their existence, inconvenient. Now, a new team of explorers embarks on a perilous journey into the uncharted lands. When they stumble upon ruins unlike any before, they uncover whispers of the lost state-evidence that it never truly disappeared. Because the Eighth State is still out there. Watching. Waiting. Faced with buried truths, deadly ambushes, and a revelation that could shatter the world's foundations, the explorers must uncover the fate of the lost state before they, too, are erased from history. Adventure. Mystery. Survival. In a world that never stops growing, how far is too far?

Regina has just been chosen to be Keeper of a unicorn. There's only one problem...She can't see them! Make that two problems. She can't get out of it. Regina's tiny village shouldn't be well known. It's about the most avarage "out in the middle of a forest" town you could come by. The thatched houses number to about 75, and there are maybe that many families. Each of which needs a hunter to survive. Nothing special. But the village itself is not what makes it so widely known. It's the local unicorn haven. Nearly every small, innocent, child dreams of becoming a Keeper, a person who watches the unicorns. But run by a group of monks called the Dispatchers, the unicorn haven holds more secrets than anyone in the village suspects. As Regina gets sucked into her new job more and more secrets start coming out. A dark presence makes itself evident on the outskirts of the village. Being now a Keeper, and a tracker, one who protects the village, Regina has to keep up with it all.
