Rodger finds himself back in his old position as a detective. He had missed this job so much, not taking into account what might have gotten him back into it in the first place. So much to do, so much to search for; what will he discover?
Dandy's World Rodger/Glisten-centric murder mystery -ish fic
For some background information: the toons slowly become twisted through a long process of inch or positioning. Ichor poisoning is time-based individually, so for each toon it takes longer or slower. The slower it is, the more painful. Ichor poisoning can happen from being around Ichor, touching Ichor, or breathing in Ichor for too long. Think of it like mold in a way. All in all, just think of MLP stages of infection.
The elevators can work both ways. For runs, if injured too much, the toons can simply choose to go back up.
So far, that is all the background information needed, but I will add in more as the story progresses and if I see fit.

Gardenview unfortunately shut down for an unknown reason... with the consequence of Toon Handlers leaving their precious Toons behind, trapped in their once colorful world, now dark and dull. They cannot escape... and such Toon will be the cause of something awful. One very colorful Toon, taken over by anger and vengeance, began working on a mysterious project called The Ichor Project! Such experiment will cause ruckus and loss. This corruptive substance happens to turn Toons into Twisteds; animalistic creatures who lose everything they ever had... taken over by a dark force, no longer recognizing those they cared about. All Main Toons however, can withstand it at some point... however their dear friends cannot. They watch as one by one of them become corrupted... unable to recognize them anymore. Separated from them forever. How will the Main Toons solve this, and most importantly, will they remain sane? What is our very colorful friend hiding behind that poker face of his? What happens when the ichor gets too overwhelming for the infected Toons...? Warning: I don't own any of the characters in Dandy's World! All credits go to the original creator, Qwelver! Soon, he was slowly forgetting his memories when suddenly, he smelled something... Strawberries. "Cosmo?! Where are you?!" His eyes widened as he tried to stand up. His legs were weak so he had to hold onto the walls. "Spr...out..." He tried to call out but his voice was a bit raspy from the ichor. He limped towards the other boy who had caramel on the side of his hair and face. The other boy noticed him and ran towards him, holding him in his arms. "Cosmo! Oh god..." Sprout put his hand on Cosmo's cheek. "I'm so sorry..." He whispered as Cosmo hugged him tighter. "N-No... I'm sor-ry too..." Cosmo sobbed into Sprouts shoulder as the taller boy softly whispered soft words and rubbed his back. "It's okay... Everything's going to be okay... We'll go back up and get Dandy..." Sprout kissed Cosmo's forehead as the boy continued to cry. "I promise that everything will be alright..." Cosmo looked up at Sprout, one shedding tears whilst the other sheds ichor. "You pro-mise...?" Sprout stays silent for a bit, thinking about how he CAN'T do anything but say sweet nothings. "...I promise. So please stay, I still want you." Cosmo nods as they continue to hug each other... Not knowing the things they'll go through.
