Was pain supposed to be normal?
Charlotte Nguyen was familiar with pain. Everywhere she went, physical, mental, and emotional suffering followed her. Her parents beat her whenever she was home and her classmates would bully and fight her whenever she wasn't.
But Charlotte Nguyen was also a diehard ARMY. BTS was one of her largest inspirations, their songs motivating her to love herself.
So when she finds out that BTS wants to help her with her depression and awful living situation, she tells herself to find more reasons to keep living other than music.
