In the battle of hogwarts, Harry never finds out the truth of his abilities and scar and as he destroys Voldemort's body after Neville slaughtered the snake, he thought victory was near. He didn't know there was one horcrux left... him. Thus with Voldemort's body destroyed, the soul inside Harry starts to merge and fight against Harry's in an attempt to over throw and control merge into his body. But the reaction and pain is violent and both souls burst causing the untimely death of Harry. But as the master of death, he meets death who offers him a chance to try again as his Death had been a ripple in his destined fate. Without hesitation, Harry accepts, determined to do things differently and knowing he's a horcrux - he vows to not lot any of his friends die. He is sent back to the triwizard tournament where he must restart his journey to defeat Voldemort for good.
