In a quiet coastal town where the waves whisper secrets and the stars shine just a little too brightly, Ren meets a girl who doesn't belong. Aya is strange-her presence is fleeting, her footsteps leave no trace, and she never seems to remember him the next day. But every night, she finds him. And every night, they talk as if they've known each other forever. As the summer drifts on, Ren starts noticing the gaps in reality-the way time bends around Aya, the way the ocean seems to call her back. Something isn't right. She shouldn't be here. And soon, she won't be. With each meeting, Ren fights to hold on to her, to uncover the truth before she disappears forever. But when he finally learns why Aya exists between the cracks of time, he realizes that some people are never meant to stay. They are meant to be remembered.

Claire is a quiet, thoughtful girl with a heart full of questions she's never dared to ask out loud. By day, she blends into the background-just another face in the crowded halls of her high school. But every night, everything changes. When she closes her eyes, she enters a dream world that feels more real than anything she's ever known. In her dreams, there's him. A boy with a warm smile and eyes that seem to understand every hidden piece of her. They're inseparable in that world-laughing through lunch breaks, walking the halls of a school that doesn't exist, and sharing moments that feel heartbreakingly real. In the dreams, they're together, like they've known each other forever. But every morning, Claire wakes up alone, the memories of him fading like mist. She doesn't know who he is or why he feels so familiar, but with every night that passes, the connection grows stronger-and so does her fear that she'll never find him in the real world.
