A boy of a small jungle village is allowed by his parents to go for a walk alone in the jungle for the first time in his life so he takes the opportunity as a chance to explore the jungle knowing the dangers lurking within the jungle.
But there's one danger he doesn't know much about... The River Knights, a clan of warriors who live near the murky rivers of the jungle.

While on his walk, he decides to walk along the bank of one of the rivers deep within the jungle and here's rattling in the leaves ahead so he investigates. He then hears it next to him so he turns around...

He's staring into the eyes of a River Knight who takes him back to the clan leader where he becomes....

This story follows the first born child of the Olo'eyktan and Tsahik of the Omaticaya clan. Older sister to Neteyam, Lo'ak, Kiri, and Tuktirey. She was raised to be the perfect balance of Neytiri and Jake, maybe a little too perfect. Follow her story as she has to give up the only life she has ever known to keep her people safe. --**-- My grandmother notices my frozen state and makes her way to me. "My child..." I turn to look at her, "do not be afraid of life, do not be afraid of fate, be afraid of doing nothing to change it." As the words leave her lips, it sparks a dying fire in my heart. A fire I thought would extinguish along with my title. I smile and pull her into a hug, "I will find my way back to you one day..." I whisper in her ear. "I know, and when you do, you will be a different person. I cannot wait to meet her." With her final words, and a newfound light in my soul, I turn to follow my family down the pathway. I reach the end and mount Kxitx, and with one last look at my clan, I pull my headpiece over my forehead, yip to signal takeoff, and burst from the ground like a sapling reaching to the sun. And we were off. --**-- If you don't like the story, feel free to not read it. Don't waste your energy commenting you don't like something. Just move on.
