Nativus Academy - Light Before the Dark

Lily thought she was a normal teen girl attending a normal school with a normal family and she would have a normal life. That all changed when her brother and their family friend left to attend an Academy far away from home when they turned sixteen. Against her will, Lily's family forced her to join the same academy three years later. A whole new world was opened to Lily-a world outside the normal world, an unexpected world that changed her life.

The Liminalitae Realm was the NEW world set apart from the Natural Realm Lily was used to. A war thousands of years ago solidified the separation of the Realms. A faction seeking to enslave all those born without talents lost the battle, and the separation was solidified to keep the peace.

Nativus Academy is a hidden pocket in the Liminalitae Realm that protects the students from negative outside forces. In the academy, Lily's life and plans were forever changed. She had zero control over and less help with the unknown trials she was going to face.

She fought daily to survive while deciding to stay at the academy or return to her old life.

Mean girls and aggressive teen boys with superiority complexes challenged Lily's determination and self-esteem. Discovering new alliances was the only way Lily could have any joy during the academy year.
