A disastrous fate, Something you wouldn't even wish upon your worst enemy. That is what was brought upon the children of Calais-Blason, trapped to be assassins with no choice out. But two stood out, and despite being polar opposites among the troupe, nothing could keep them separated. Lucian's cold, deep stare and Shalem's quiet, and gentle atmosphere complimented each other dearly. Yet their deep, antagonistic relationship would be the result of their inevitable downfall, knowing in the end that they could never be together. Or, I guess you will have to see.

So, I've been working on this for a little over a year now, pls dont expect fast updates because i tend to lose and gain motivation quite unexpectedly (im sorry!!) SO for context, phantom will be referred to as Lucian here because that was his name before he joined Rhodes Island. This is technically a fanfic but i basically wrote about how i think the troupe took the children in, how lucian and shalem met etc etc. I mostly based this off of the info i could find on the wiki page and the info you can gain from phantom and shalem. but with any story a lot of this will be original, more so as the story progresses, but basically im basing it off the fact SPOILERS ahead!!!!!!!!
that after shalem failed to finish one of his assignments, lucian was ordered to kill him and shalem fled to rhodes island, im just making it my own like how i think it happened and yk yeah.

Okay, so I'd just like to say that this is not well written whatsoever lol. All the grammar is correct, and there's some decent description, but it all feels very rushed if I'm honest. I tried to cram too many ideas in and yeah, it made.. whatever this is. Uh, I have some one-shots on my profile which might be better to read?... If you don't mind a fic being rushed this is probably great for you, lol, but the plot line is very higgledy piggeldy. Um, enjoy? Percy X Apollo Percy Jackson is tired. Of everything. He and Annabeth broke up after the fall into Tartarus, neither being able to look at the other the same way. Sure, they stayed friends, but that doesn't make Percy feel any better about it. Some of the gods are concerned, but Zeus is forbidding them from checking in on him, intent on leaving demigods alone despite all they've done for the Olympians. Apollo, however, is ignoring this order. He cares a little too much about Percy to watch him suffer in silence. But when a new threat arises, how will the Olympians handle it? How will the demigods handle it? This is very all over the place, but I think it turned out well in the end. (This is future me in brackets, btw, it did not turn out well lmao). In this story, Nico is overprotective of Percy (still solangelo though) as a best friend. He's forgiven Percy for the whole ordeal about Bianca and now they're pretty close, both confiding in each other about things they never thought they'd tell a soul.
