Rebecca 'Becky' Armstrong- the family's golden child and future star architect- expects six months at her godparents' home to be... manageable.

One tiny problem: the Chankimhas have a daughter. Freen. Becky's sworn rival, the girl she's been competing against since they could walk.

Between two inseparable families, Becky and Freen are the only glitch in the picture-perfect friendship. Snarky remarks in the living room, petty sabotage in the kitchen, snappy comebacks at dinner, strategic sabotage over chores, accidental almost-flirtations in the hallway and stolen glares that last a little too long... their rivalry is a ticking time bomb.

But then-something changes.

Hatred blurs, rivalry stumbles, and the line between enemies and something more begins to dissolve.
From "I'll make your life miserable"
to "All I want is for you to see me."

A rivals-to-lovers rom-com about stubborn hearts, unexpected sparks, and the chaos of falling for the one person you swore you never would.

Prologue The rain hammered against the apartment window as Freen stared at her phone, hands trembling. Her mother's voice still echoed in her head from the devastating call. 'Mind is gone.' Her sister-her only ally-was dead. A car accident. Gone in an instant, leaving behind ten-year-old Annie. "Freen?" Nam's voice came from behind her. "What's wrong?" "My sister..." The words came out as barely a whisper. "She's dead." Three pairs of arms surrounded her as the sobs came. Nam, Heng, and Noey-her chosen family for the past five years since she'd left home with nothing but a guitar and broken dreams. Through her grief, her mother's other words echoed: 'Annie is to be in your care. Not ours. Yours." Mind had chosen her. Even after years of separation, Mind still believed in her enough to entrust her with the most precious thing in her life. But how could she? Someone who jumped at loud noises, who had panic attacks, who could barely take care of herself-how could she care for a grieving child? "I have to go back," Freen whispered. "I have to go home." Home. The place she'd sworn never to return to. Where her father's voice still echoed, calling her worthless, saying her music was a joke. "Then we'll help you pack," Heng said simply. Freen looked at her friends-the ones who'd held her together through everything. Now she had to leave them behind to face her past. But somewhere in that hometown, a little girl was waiting. A little girl who'd lost everything, just like Freen had once lost everything. Mind had trusted her with this. The sister who'd snuck into her room to hear her practice, who'd believed in her dreams when no one else did. Maybe it was time to prove that belief hadn't been misplaced. Maybe it was time to go home.

In the final moment before her destruction, Wanda Maximoff " the Scarlet Witch " is pulled into a void beyond time or form. Lost in the abyss of her guilt, a mysterious light touches her... and brings her back. Not to her world, but to another. One where magic is different. Where redemption might take shape: the world of Harry Potter. When a luminous figure " a doe " shows her the memories of a boy abandoned and mistreated by his relatives, Wanda understands her new purpose: to protect Lily Potter's son. Though she doesn't know why she was chosen, she accepts the deal. In exchange for a chance at redemption, she will care for little Harry. But Wanda is no ordinary witch. And this world is not ready for her. From the very first moment on Privet Drive, the Dursleys will feel that something has changed. With power, resolve, and growing compassion, Wanda will face a new destiny. Because this time... no one will touch the boy without facing her. After all, who better to protect the Boy Who Lived... than the Scarlet Witch herself? Author's Disclaimer: This story is loosely inspired by the initial premise of Strange Potter, a work I greatly admire and that served as a creative spark for developing this project. Although the plot, character development, and events are entirely original and distinct, I believe it's only fair to acknowledge that initial influence. Likewise, this is a non-profit fanfic that blends elements from the Marvel and Harry Potter universes, whose rights belong to their respective creators and owners (Marvel/Disney and J.K. Rowling). This work is made with respect and with the intention of paying tribute to these worlds that so many of us have enjoyed.
