Aubree, a powerful witch who can't control her magic, Jessica, a human which are hated everywhere, Harper, a brash half-dragon who wants to fill her hunger of adventure, Selena, an empathetic elf who can speak with animals and are seen as over-emotional, Alayna, a fairy teased for being weak and frail.

The five friends want to travel the world together and want to find the god who grants wishes.

In the great land of Yinzu, resides a god who grants wishes only to those he deems worthy. However, he only goes down once a year, and the friends are running out of time to get there. While on their way, they face peril, forces of evil, and other things that impede them from their overall goal; to travel the world, meet the wish-granting god, and become stronger. Together.
