The world had ended. A silent, desolate ruin stretched across the land-lifeless, forsaken. The sky, once vibrant, now suffocated beneath an oppressive shroud of shifting void. Then- Seraph wakes. A sharp gasp rips from his throat as he lurches upright, his body drenched in cold sweat. His heart hammers against his ribs, his breath ragged. For a moment, he is lost-his mind sluggish, disoriented. But the moment his senses return, so does the dread. Towering ruins stand where cities once thrived. The ground beneath him is cracked, barren-its very essence drained. The wind carries no warmth, only whispers of voices long forgotten. And above it all, the sky-dark, endless, watching. His gaze shifts to the distance, where something stirs amidst the shadows. Why was he here? Has the world truly ended?

The gods are watching. The past is bleeding into the present. And Zeph is running out of time. Two months after surviving his so-called ascension, Zeph is still piecing himself together. The voices in his head-one of them belonging to a long-dead god-haven't quieted. His nightmares are growing more vivid. And Astaroth... Astaroth is hiding something. When an old enemy resurfaces with a devastating truth, Zeph and Astaroth are thrust into a battle they aren't ready for. Chronica has returned, stronger than before, and she's not alone. As divine power begins to stir once more, the line between who they were and who they are now starts to blur. Zeph was never meant to survive. Astaroth was never meant to remember. And when fate demands its due, they may have to destroy each other to break free. What does it mean to be divine?
