His jaw was clenching. His breath was mingling with my own by our close proximity. His strong, familiar scent washed over my senses, making my eyelids flutter. He leaned his forehead against mine, I could feel his burning gaze towards me. "I'm not good for you," He murmured. I watched his lips move, until I snapped my eyes towards him. They were dark and guarded. "That might be true," I whispered and he tensed. "But I would be lying if I said that I'm not attracted to bad things," I finished.

After breaking up with her boyfriend, Arlet Trevelyan gets kidnapped by a stranger who throws her life upside down. Secrets and hidden memories are threatened to be spilled, and when Arlet feels a strange pull towards pull towards her kidnapper she's lost and confused.
