The sun hung high over Zion, casting its radiant glow on the grand palace of Chaos' kingdom. In one of the lavish chambers adorned with intricate tapestries depicting stars and constellations, Percy Jackson sat behind a large, ornately carved desk. The room was filled with the quiet rustling of parchment as she signed papers with a rather distracted air, her expression as if she were somewhere else entirely. The paperwork was never-ending, but it wasn't like she had to do it all. Chaos had a way of getting others to handle the details while she just finished things off with her mark.

But in this case, her focus wasn't on the menial task at hand. Her mind was already plotting how she could get out of this meeting. It was the usual boring political drivel, but it was never fun when it involved nobles who didn't understand what she was doing here. The whispers around the room, thick with judgement, floated to her ears, but Percy was used to it by now.

"She's only here because of Chaos,"

One noblewoman murmured, her voice dripping with disdain.

"A proper princess would never act like she does."

Another noble chimed in, her gaze flicking towards Percy with an overly sweet smile,

"Yes, such a pity. My daughter would have been far better suited for the role. She's been trained in all the proper etiquette, after all."

Percy rolled her eyes subtly, barely holding back her sigh. The same thing every time. Of course, they'd think their daughters were perfect for the role. As if she didn't have better things to do than sit in on this nonsense. But she couldn't exactly tell them off without risking Chaos' wrath. He insisted she stay out of the politics-only because he wanted to keep her out of the mess. He wouldn't tolerate the nobles, but he tolerated them for her sake.

The door to the room creaked open, and Percy barely looked up. She recognized that presence all too well.
