From Flesh to Love | RYEJI

Shin Ryujin and Hwang Yeji have been inseparable since childhood, the best of friends as they navigate the chaos of high school senior year. Ryujin has long harbored feelings for Yeji, which she's kept hidden, especially since Yeji is straight and caught in an on-and-off relationship with the rebellious wannabe punk-rocker, Choi Yeonjun.

At a Halloween party Yeji drags Ryujin to, the night takes an unexpected turn when they're sent into the closet for a game of seven minutes in heaven, where feelings spark within the darkness of jackets and sneakers. Before anything can unfold, the game is interrupted by an apocalyptic event: a zombie outbreak.

Forced to survive the nightmare together, Ryujin and Yeji must confront more than just the undead. Ryujin admits her long-suppressed feelings, and buried resentments come to light-like Ryujin's frustration over yeji's toxic relationship with Yeonjun and Yeji's anger that Ryujin never told her about studying abroad. As they fight to uncover the cause of the outbreak, they discover a shocking truth on how the uprising began.

As Ryujin succumbs to the zombie infection, Yeji faces a brutal realization-her feelings for Ryujin are deeper than she ever expected, but is it too late for them to have a chance? With time running out, they must find a way to survive the apocalypse-and each other-before everything changes forever.
