Sometimes this stage is referred to as a preview version. Sometimes no more features are added after this release, but bug fixes continue.
Now take this, and apply it towards the very first version, the V1, if you will, of Disassembly Drones by JCJenson, designed to kill, yet finding it too unstable, too unpredictable to continue production with this model, so it was sent out without a fuel source and left to rot on the frozen planet of Copper 9 where it remained for years. Revered by the Disassembly Drones that follow in its footsteps

The Prototype of Copper-9 (Murder Drones x Prototype)
Y/N Mercer, Codename Heracles, the (adopted) son of the Infamous Killer/Monster/Terrorist Alex Mercer, Codename Zeus. Wakes up on a different planet called; Copper-9 after being in cryosleep for hundreds of years, Y/N also finds out that the planet is inhabited by sentient robots called Worker Drones and Murder Drones. Takes place after the events of Prototype 1 but the events of Prototype 2 never happened and James Heller never got infected with the blacklight virus nor does he exist and mentioned in the story.
