Due to a mistake from a powerful being, Reader is sent into a messed up reality of Journey To The West several years before the story even starts. Unable to return home, you try to find a way while making a few friends along the way.
However, you never expected to run into Sun Wukong and The Six Eared Macaque, The Warlords and Kings of Flower Fruit Mountain, who are cursed into being small monkey cubs. Unaware of their true nature and forms, you take care of them while journeying.
You never expected them to grow attached to you, and honestly, neither did they. Now, if only they could find a way to get you to stay here and not return to your own world.

Then again, climbing the Flower Fruit Mountain during the coldest winter on the rumor that the higher one goes, the more fruits they would see, had also seemed like the right thing to do. But then again, what was Hua supposed to know about the mythical Monkey King? Most certainly not that he'd chase her back home!
