But this group is hiding something, and it is only a matter of time before it is revealed to the chosen successors. Petalwish is unsure if she really should be loyal to CliffClan. She loves her clanmates dearly, but the clan deputy seems to watch their every move, just waiting for any cat to slip up. But it's the clan she was raised in. So, she should be loyal to them, right? Keenkit always figured he and his littermates were normal kits who would all become apprentices and be able to train together. But when a strange cat takes his sister out of StreamClan on the day of their apprentice ceremony, he quickly realizes such hope has become impossible. Sunpaw just wants to prove to his clan, BreezeClan that he can become a great warrior. But it isn't as easy as it sounds. Even though his rival apprentice Slowpaw is much younger than him, he is always beaten in battle training and he can never catch nearly as much prey. His mentor doesn't make it any better either. Disclaimer: First of all, I want to make clear that this is heavily inspired by Maltose's au, but in a different setting. Also, if you're familiar with West Woods from Moss-shadow, there's a little bit of that too, especially with the name Sliverstone. They are two different characters though. And overall, it's inspired by Warrior Cats, by Erin Hunter. This is a fanfiction I started writing when I was about 11, so don't take it too seriously. I wanted to post this here because ik that a lot of younger people use this and I'm more familiar with Wattpad in general. Also because I have a random ass fanfic laying around doing nothing so my brain decided to show the world this weird amalgamation. Final notes: English isn't my mother tongue so if there's something wrong with the phrasing or just mistakes, yk why. There are also some unpolished parts but oh well. So here's what this story's actually about, brought to you by my overly anxious and somehow bored essence. A young housecat, Rusty, wanders off into the forest and realizes "woah this is cool and oh shit im important :D" but he has to face a lot of prejudice due to his origins.
