The Dragon Caller

In an age of storms and steel, where dragons rule the skies and men seek to break them, one boy walks a different path.

Eirik Haelson, sixteen summers old and by all rights a man, has never sought battle or glory. While his kin raise their axes and set their sights on conquest, he chases something far older-dragons. Not to slay them, not to tame them as beasts of war, but to understand them.

Ever since the night he first locked eyes with a dragon upon the cliffs of his village, he has been unable to turn away. Now, with only his wits, his scars, and a heart that refuses to fear, Eirik sets out on a journey across the wild North, where wyrms of fire and storm rule the land and sea.

Men call him a fool. Some call him cursed.

But Eirik knows the truth:

Dragons are not to be conquered. They are to be known.

And if it takes a lifetime to prove it, so be it.
