You are a shy, and rather introverted, child with very few friends, and the ones you do have live a few states away, leaving just you and your parents. You aren't a troubled kid, you just preferred to keep to yourself. One day, during a walk with your parents, you spot a yard sale hosted by some of your neighbors. Curious, you ask your parents if you can take a look, to which they agree. While sifting through various items, you unexpectedly stumble upon an old, locked box. After managing to unlock it, you find it filled with old VHS tapes from an old tv show, titled 'Smiling Critters'. How fun! You had never heard of this show before, but hey, you were being given them for free, so who were you to object?

And... Huh, what do you know. Your parents have a working VHS player in the basement. How lucky!
