Balloon and Knife have been growing closer. Knife giving Balloon advice on how to sway the Hotel residents to finally see he's not who he was in season 1, and Balloon offering a place where Knife can let his guard down and just enjoy another's presence. After a late-night encounter, Knife decides to let Balloon sleep in his room to help keep his mind off everyone in the hotel. Balloon lets his impulsiveness win and makes a move, revealing that they both might feel more for the other than they admit.
