Her life was one of tragedy, loss and trauma that would never truly go away.
Frisk was the one human she'd truly grown attached to. Even though she'd never admit it.
And so, when that run started, it ruined Chara. Turning her into a soul that craved strength and power because with it, she was unstoppable.
Frisk wanted her partner to have a second chance at life, a life where she'd be truly happy.
She knew that this would be her only way of redeeming herself in Chara's eyes. So she seeked the help of a friend.
A certain skeleton that Chara despises with all her heart...

But for Chara and Clover, first their fates weaved together, now are separated. In a moment of desperation, something new is discovered. Two people sharing a soul...? "Do you think that even the worst of people can change? That even after what they do, anyone can be a good person?" Frisk thinks this is true, but not for her. After resetting after killing every monster in the underground by being taken over by Chara, she fears to get close to her once friends. After Chara threatens Frisk if she didn't kill one of her favorite monsters, Sans the Skeleton, she begins to distance herself from everyone; including herself. Will Frisk figure out how to defeat Chara and have a happy ending once again, or will she succumb to the pressure and begin the slay every monster- just like before? Edit: I own Fuse, but none of the other characters. Original Sans the Skeleton is owned by Toby Fox and any variation other than Fuse is not owned by me. She can be referred as they/them so no gender war comments, please. Just respect my vision for my story. Chara will be male. His age appears around Frisk's but he's spiritually older. Monsters tend to age slower than humans in this AU. This is a fanwork. If you think Sans x Frisk is cringy, I treat it as Beauty and the Beast so think of it in that mindset.
