Chara had never gotten a happy ending.
Her life was one of tragedy, loss and trauma that would never truly go away.
Frisk was the one human she'd truly grown attached to. Even though she'd never admit it.
And so, when that run started, it ruined Chara. Turning her into a soul that craved strength and power because with it, she was unstoppable.
Frisk wanted her partner to have a second chance at life, a life where she'd be truly happy.
She knew that this would be her only way of redeeming herself in Chara's eyes. So she seeked the help of a friend.
A certain skeleton that Chara despises with all her heart...

But, what happens when their determination becomes to much for only one person to hold? (This is a Frisk x Chara fanfic, the are both agender and will be referred to with they/them pronouns. This is using the Flowerfell AU, which is a combination of two different AUs; Flowertale: which is when every time Frisk dies, a golden flower blooms somewhere on their body, and Underfell: which is that all the monsters are more set on killing Frisk instead of mercy, and it's much harder to survive, and Flowey is actually kind and helps Frisk. When a boy falls into the grasps of the underground, and into the possessive hold of a young girl, he will learn new things about the residents of the hellish world, as well as the secret past that lays within his companion and her true impact on the world around them. Frisk, and his ghost friend Chara, will explore the underground. Chara would lead him through, assisting in translation and directions, while running into new friends, as well as old ones. Frisk will learn many things about Chara, good and bad. Once he figures out her story, as well as the happy ending they all get, he realizes Chara grows more and more distant. Does he get bored without his ghostly counterpart, and if he does, What will he do about it? (( Warning ; Contains graphic scenes, and warnings will be included before each of these chapters. Dark humor, and disturbing topics will be mentioned. This is Chara x Frisk. This will not be extremely fluffy. It might be at the end, but it will have a rough beginning. Can Sans see the truth or will he not trust her? (This story is an AU where Frisk is a female, who is 22 years old. She is not a child in this. I do not like shipping Frisk when she's a kid. She can be referred as they/them so no gender war comments, please. Just respect my vision for my story. Chara will be male. His age appears around Frisk's but he's spiritually older. Monsters tend to age slower than humans in this AU. This is a fanwork. If you think Sans x Frisk is cringy, I treat it as Beauty and the Beast so think of it in that mindset.
