Tomiko knew the shrine would have to close sooner or later with the modernisation of her small town they were phasing out traditional shrines and their rituals with them to replace them with shopping malls but to tomiko that would not only threaten the yokai she protected but her own livelyhood,
but when she was faced with the knowlege that alone she cant fight for her shrine she turns to find help dicovering the townsfolk all are in favour of the change, she has to turn to alternate meothds to save her shrine and will stop at nothing to protect it.
