Day 30 - Unconscious Kidnappers

Kush stood frozen, his mind racing. *What... happened here?* He had expected danger, a fight, maybe even a trap. But instead, the kidnappers were lying unconscious on the ground.

His heart pounded as he turned and sprinted back toward MM. When he reached him, he stopped in his tracks, his eyes widening in disbelief.

MM was sitting comfortably... in front of a feast.

Fresh fruits, warm bread, steaming dishes-*real* food. The kind Kush hadn't seen in ages. MM was eating calmly, as if nothing was out of the ordinary.

Kush's voice trembled. "What... is this? Where did all this food come from?"

MM looked up, smiling. "Someone passing by gave it to me."

Kush clenched his fists. "Don't lie to me. First, the unconscious kidnappers, and now *this*?" He took a step closer, his mind screaming that something was off.

MM shrugged. "Maybe they're just sleeping. Taking care of me must have been exhausting."

"Stop talking nonsense!" Kush snapped. "Tell me the truth. What are you doing? How are you doing all this?"

MM took a bite of a ripe mango and held one out to Kush. "Relax, Mitra. Have some mango-it's delicious."

Kush's anger boiled over. "Enough! Tell me everything *now* or I'm leaving!"

MM simply smiled.

💡Who knocked out the kidnappers? Where did all this food come from? And what secret is MM still hiding? The answers await in the next chapter!
