Finding a book hidden by her neighbour, in a society where the arts have been banned and only Regime approved books are allowed, Anna Brigham can't help but sneak it home with her. She should report it, but how can she, when between the tattered pages she finds a way to escape her dreary life? -----P----- August, 23 ...A puddle has appeared. I do not know where from, as mentioned above it has not rained in weeks, nor would anyone be so foolish as to play carelessly with water in these times. Even if they had, the water would have dried up in hours. The puddle remains, ever as inexplicable. Am convinced it is a portal to another world. Prompts: 5. After weeks of dry weather, a mysterious puddle appears in your garden. You're convinced it's a portal, but the only way to know for sure is to jump in. In combination with, but more loosely based on: 61. The silence in the room is deafening, as though it has a life of its own. It's time to rewrite the fairy tale, but this time, the ending will be yours, and it won't be happy.

PLEASE NOTE - YOU DO NOT HAVE TO READ THE KOLTC BOOKS; THIS CAN BE READ ALONE. But, of course, there will be spoilers but I WILL try to limit it. ------------------------- *I've tried to keep this book as close as it can to the real Keeper books, but I am not Shannon Messenger, but, hey, I tried* Following the sixth book, Impossible is a twist of plots, and it starts at Alvar's Tribunal. Something terrible happens, so terrible that Sophie has decided to make a decision. One that will not only impact herself, but her family, not only her family, but her friends, not only her friends and family, but the whole Lost Cities. "These past few years... they've been amazing, you guys," Sophie started off. "...wait for it, you guys... going to be a 'but.'" Keefe said. "But.." Sophie choked on her words. "But what?" Biana asked. "But... all good things come to an end. I've decided to go back...and I think it's permanent." Everyone in the room held their breath. Finally, Keefe had the courage to ask "Back where?" Sophie took a breath. "Back to the Forbidden Cities." What will happen to Sophie? What will happen to the Lost Cities, now that their moonlark is gone? What HAD happened that made Sophie make this life-changing decision? Read to find out! After Sophie fixes her conflict as mentioned above, more and more mayhem cooks up in the Lost Cities. Will Sophie ever find a way to have a normal life?
