What if the Parasite went too far and not only affected Mad Rat mentally, but physically too?
An average lab rat gets to redo his final day after his death so that he can achieve his wish on killing the scientist who used him for their experiments, complete with his talkative and supportive heart at his side. He begins to explore a world he's never even seen before, but here, something seems a bit off. As the dubbed "Mad Rat" progresses on his adventure, he can't help but feel like something is lurking inside of him, something that could either be used for good and bad usages. Whatever it is, he's sure to get his happy ending without giving up...right?
A rewrite AU of Mad Rat Dead...but with a Sonic Unleashed and HoaG, SoaW twist with a few minor word changes. Will contain spoilers to the game as well as forms of body horror, mentioning of character death, and a few unsettling images. Do check out MRD though!

Hello! This is a complete reboot/rewrite of the show Sonic Underground Please read the whole desc! Will personalities, backstories, and story be changed? Yes. Absolutely. Will there be dark themes? Tissues always had his condisawn, now being proven to have been a joke by Mephone4 when They were created.
