Cheerleader Captain Katie Winters finally has a boyfriend she really likes. She wants to take their relationship to the next level, but Xenos Golshani keeps Katie at a distance. What's worse is that he seems to be drawn to the socially awkward bookworm, Eriadne Heartwish, the same girl that Katie has been bullying since Freshman year.

Maybe it's a reckoning. Maybe it's karma, but Katie's bullying is ruining her life. She feels like there's this demon inside pushing her to evil and she vows to make her life better. Then two city wide glowing wings appear in the sky and everything gets complicated.

Eriadne and Xenos know about the giant wings. They know that something is happening and when Katie is pulled into a world of supernatural powers, she finds out that Eriadne is a chosen hero and Xenos is her protector. Torn between jealousy and the need to be a better person, Katie needs to pick a side in the fight for good versus evil.
