Mysterious deaths happening worldwide has intrigued everyone in the Honor House, but Violet holds no interest until it begins to threaten those around her and herself.

Fifteen-year-old Violet resides in a realm where both her reality and imagination meet. Creatures called Embodiments, who embody certain things in her life, exist to fill the void she has long forgotten how to. And as she goes about life in this realm, she lives as the mistress of a Chinese mansion entrusted to her called the Honor House.

While days seem mundane and fleeting, a change in the flow happens when mysterious deaths occur worldwide, primarily in Czechia. Though she starts out apathetic, she becomes concerned as she ponders its potential relation to her past. Slowly, she realizes the gravity of the situation when one of the Embodiments' lives is threatened along.

Will Violet be able to protect those that matter to her, or is the one behind this mystery too powerful for even the one whose mind this realm is under control?
