Sixteen-year-old Angelina never asked to be shipped off to a military academy, but thanks to her late mother's will, she's stuck in a place where discipline rules and freedom is just a memory. The worst part? Her assigned tutor, Major Christopher, a strict, arrogant soldier who seems to enjoy making her life miserable.

Christopher has enough problems of his own-demotions, impossible training drills, and a haunted past that won't let him sleep. The last thing he needs is babysitting a reckless, stubborn girl who doesn't know when to keep her mouth shut.
