Pain. Depression, anxiety, insomnia, panic disorder - it wasn't a lonely feeling, but one that wouldn't hesitate to rip your heart open. I know that personally. It's always been difficult to tell people. I can't tell my friends, my family, and certainly not therapists. My First Challenge And Tool - Accepting My Depression
After enduring the depths of depression, I can now say with conviction: "I am not a depressed person. I have depression-it's a disease, not a choice, and it does not define me." This shift in perspective has been transformative, enabling me to speak openly about my struggles and focus on recovery rather than feeling ashamed or attempting to conceal my pain.
