For personal reasons, Akila had never really loved Pokemon. Alas, in trying to become a high-ranking Pokemon trainer, she finds herself stuck with an Absol she despises from the moment she lays eyes on him.
Yet, life works in mysterious ways and very soon into her journey to beat the trainer Sabrina, she finds herself side-tracked by her newest Pokemon - as well as an outside force - and lead into a world she had never really opened her eyes to.

Not all rights of this story are mine. The rights for the Pokemon and the names of the region are those of Pokemon. I own the personalities of my own characters however, and the small forest where this particular story takes place.
Note that not all this will be loyal to the canon, and, a lot of this will need to be revised. From a technical story-writing stand point, and that of the fandom this is based around, the piece is nothing great. I am working on it though, hoping to edit it to where it becomes worthy of the readers and votes it did gain. Thank you for giving this story a chance.

Our Promise, Our Future
After winning the Kalos League and keeping their promise, Ash and Serena continue their journey together. From new regions, to new Pokemon, to new battles and new experiences. Whatever lies ahead, they don't know, but they will face it together. This is a sequel to my Our Promise one-shot (which you can read if you'd like for some extra exposition but it's not required). I kept looking over it and I saw more potential in it, but instead of going back to that story, I decided to keep it a one-shot and make the sequel a multi-chapter story. I don't know how many chapters I'll write, but I'll try to make it long enough to be considered a good read. I do know that I don't have an uploading schedule, so new chapters will most likely appear at random. I hope you'll all enjoy my first attempt at a multi-chapter Pokemon story. Fair warning though. Can I Tell You A Story?
A story that became a One-shot So this story is based on the virtue of achievement. Wow, long description? That must mean either this is really important, or a teenager hacked this author's note, or I'm too lazy to change it (definitely the latter). Anyway, I'm EeveeInRamen, the Pokémon writer! And let's start the author's notes monologue! (Insert yawning reader here.) Relax, reading this note will only take you about eight hours. So this is a short story I've been wanting to try for a while since I love good stories and I also love Eevees. Like all good writers who try writing online, my summary does not do the story full credit. You'll just have to read it to see if you like it or not. First things first, Pokemon belongs to Pokemon and I don't own any Pokemon. The only thing I do own is the ice cream in the freezer and you can't have it! It's mine! (Eats all the ice cream). And now I own nothing, I should buy more ice cream sometime. This story is dedicated to my father, who taught me that all work is important only if it is done with other people in mind. After his loss in Unova Ash returns home to regroup and plan which region he will go to next. However while planning his next region, tragedy strikes and his mother dies. to his knowledge he has no other family until one day a familiar visitor arrives offering him a home and revealing a family secret lost for generations. Ash takes this offer and trains his Pokemon for 2 years. Now he is ready to journey out again, this time to Kalos. What will he find in Kalos, will he finally be able to achieve his dreams? And will he find something or someone that he didn't know he was missing when he finds a certain honey blonde. This is rated mature, however there won't be any lemons here but perhaps other some mature topics might get put in here. This will be my first ever attempt at writing so please forgive me and please leave your criticism. if this goes well I might actually write something else. For the most part this will be based off of the cannon, however this will be for the most part an original story. So please enjoy. Then Ari meets N, a mysterious pokemon trainer who is saying simalar things to what Team Plasma is saying. She thinks N is part of Team Plasma but something is telling her not to trust her gut feeling. When N tells her that he is the King of Team Plasma, things change. Now it's a race to find the legendary dragon pokemon of Truth and Ideals. Will Ari find and befriend one of these legendary dragons before it's too late?
