Solas finally has what he has sought for so long. A chance to right when he once sundered. To make up for all his mistakes. But then she appears. The only person he has considered a true friend in a very long time.
Can the Inquisitor convince Solas to make better choices and not doom the world?
(important note: I did not play Trespasser, so in this universe the Inquisitor kept the mark and has both hands!)

Melava Sulevan is who people call the Gypsy Elf.... her clan was taken by slavers when she was a child many were sold some were killed and only she escaped.... from then on she was moved from clan to clan but spent most of her time out of the camps.... even though she was Dalish she wasn't very fond of the Dalish was.... their beliefs, how they treated outsiders.... when she was 4..... that is when her clan was being sold off..... she met two wolves who took care of her along her journey from one clan to the next..... they never entered the camps though.... those wolves belonged to Solas.... she named them Fen (who is all white with one blue and one green eye) and Harel (who is all black with one grey and one red eye)..... Solas watched her through their eyes as she grew into a beautiful powerful mage.... the two wolves were considered her protectors by the clans since they were always seen only with her.... her last clan is Keeper Hawen's clan.... when she was of age he asked her who's Vallaslin she wished to wear and with a serious face but teasing tone she told him "the dread wolf's"..... So she grew up the only elf without a Vallaslin till she joined the Inquisition and met Solas.... but fell in love with the spirit Cole/CompassionComplete
Veiled Lies and Half-Truths
This story is a Solas x Inquisitor Lavellan fan fiction. It eventually deviates greatly from the actual Dragon Age: Inquisition plot line and focuses more on romance between characters. However, it does contain massive spoilers from all of The Dragon Age games. If you are unfamiliar with the games I provide enough background information and character creation that you will not be lost. I hope you enjoy reading this as much as I have enjoyed writing it. I both love and broke for these characters. This book is complete with a little over 250 chapters. However, I have to type and revise it chapter by chapter because most of my writing was done by hand with a bunch of scribbles everywhere. It is a slower build-up to the spice and relationship as I lay out the foundation, but when it starts, it picks up drastically. Don't worry, when it's complete I will list the spice chapters for those of you who are only interested in that. *No judgment because same* There will eventually be a Solas POV for this story. *Eventually* Please make sure to look at the trigger warnings if that is a concern.
