''You're as subtle as ever brother.''
Vax huffed out a laugh. ''What? I can't help having such keen eyes,'' Uncomfortable he shifted his weight to his other foot. Taking his eyes off the traps they had set up for a moment. ''But seriously, he nearly choked on his waffle this morning when I talked to him. Dont you think that's, I don't know, weird for him?''
"Well, for Percy, that's practically jumping out of his skin. But yes," she agreed, adjusting one of the traps. "It is a bit odd. He's normally so composed."
Vax leaned back on his hunches shifting around the stones that littered the small bank. "Exactly. And did you see the color of his ears? I've never seen him blush like that. Not even when Scanlan was flirting with him the other day."
Vex chuckled again, shaking her head. "Well, maybe Scanlan should take notes," she teased.
Vax shot her a cold look." I'm serious Vex! And not only is he acting fucking weird but he's also fucking avoiding me!'' His voice got louder with every word. Making Vex flinch.

Percy's cheeks heated up, his eyes meeting her own. "Maybe." The two walked in silence for a little while longer, nearing the boat after a few moments. Aurora shouldered hers and Hazel's bags while Percy grabbed his and Frank's. They turned and began walking back to the cliff where Hazel and Frank were. After a hesitant moment, Aurora spoke up. "My favorite color is, and don't laugh." She sent him a look. A glare with no heat behind it. A glare that made Percy chuckle softly. "My favorite color is yellow." Percy let out a loud, contagious laugh that echoed off of the cliff side. Aurora watched the years of stress and sadness leave his face as he tossed his head back, eyes crinkling with joy. Aurora soon found herself laughing as well, finding it hard not to when Percy was. They stopped and laughed for a while, Aurora's stomach cramping as tears of joy slid down her cheeks. Percy inhaled deeply and shook his head with a wide grin. "And you're calling me 'original.'" "Shut up, Kelp Head." "Whatever you say, Sleeping Beauty." 'Glancing to her left, feeling the seat next to her shifting, Persephone's eyes locked onto the side profile of a boy. Black, curly hair, pointed ears, tongue sticking out in concentration of whatever he was fiddling with in his hands. Feeling her gaze, he turned to her, seeing her awake and grinned. His grin immediately told Persephone that the little Latino was not to be trusted with anything sharp or pointy or potentially dangerous. - "Child of lightening, beware the earth, The giants' revenge the eight shall birth, The forge and the dove shall break the cage, And death unleash through Hera's rage, Death shall meet her enemy soon, The curse she lands may be her doom." - Leo saw the fear in her eyes, as she stared at him. His heart stopped, wanting nothing more than to comfort her, but knowing they didn't have the time for it. "Come on, stay close to me, you'll be fine." He told her, pulling her up, wrapping a hand around her wrist and sprinting off in the direction of the warehouse. - "I wish someone looked at me the way Jason looks at Piper." She muttered to herself, not meaning for Leo to hear. He furrowed his eyebrows. "What makes you so sure someone doesn't already look at you like that?" - Persephone reached for Leo's hand, vision swimming. "It burns." She told him. His façade started to crack. Persephone loved seeing the son of Hephaestus happy, but this was the complete opposite. His expression was crestfallen, eyes pained. He entwined her fingers with his, clutching her hand tightly. Zia Zircon. The final member of Vox Machina. Her skin was made of stone. Her amethyst eyes-quite literally crystallized- were more enchanting than any real gemstone one could dig out of a mine. Her hair of the same hue shimmered as if it was at war with the stars themselves. She was as beautiful as an ornate statue. There in lay the problem. Such an appearance, however beautiful; did not garner love, or warmth or anything of the kind. How could anyone want to be with a monster like her? Her skin was not soft or supple, her hands were not comfortable to hold. Zia was cursed, you could tell with just one look. Without even knowing the details of her tragic tale. "I am Brunhilde, the eldest of the 13 Valkyrie sisters and nee-". "No". Brunhilde's eyes widened in surprise as Percy glares at her with hatred and hostility. "Look here woman. I know what you are and I don't give a flying fuck, I'm not helping or going on another quest just so your lazy devine ass can sit around and do nothing. You divine beings are all the same". Her usual sea green eyes glows, like the sea beautiful yet held deadly intent. Brunhilde shivers, she was playing on thin ice and she knew it. Although she hates to admit it, this girl frightens her... just like 'him'. Unpredictable.

Zeus must've said something because Poseidon visibly sighed and looked away with a dangerous scowl. Perci's father collapsed into a puddle of sea water, disappearing to...wherever. Zeus coughed, clearing his throat and raised his glass once more. "Odin, the Allfather and I have declared an alliance between the Greeks and the Norse." It suddenly seemed like a moment to hold one's breath and the whole room did, "With the marriage of Thor Odinson and Persephone Jackson." Silence reigned over the room for a few moments before the quiet was broken with the shattering of glass hitting the marble floor. All eyes turned to the culprit, it being Perci herself. Annabeth was looking at her, shocked beyond comprehension and a hand covered her gaping mouth. Piper and Hazel's reaction were similar. The sea green eyed demigoddess took a shaky breath, a handful of her skirt and fled the room for the closest door. She's gone. She's gone. How can she just be gone? She could be hurt or dead, who knows. Fox's vision blurred and her knees felt weak. Fear.
