When the daughter of maria benson, (owner of new york city's biggest car dealership, benson auto) angelina benson moves to the Valley, she's expecting the usual: luxury, socialites, and endless shopping sprees. But when her mother decides to relocate to a modest neighborhood for a quote 'fresh start' angelina is faced with a world far from the glam she's used to. To fit in and assert her independence, she joins a local karate dojo called 'cobra kai', where she discovers strength in places she never thought possible-both in herself and in the friends she makes. As she learns how to 'strike first' and 'strike hard', angelina is forced to rethink what it truly means to fight-not just in the dojo, but for her place in a world that's anything but predictable.
she meets a boy in the very same dojo, miguel diaz. he was nothing like the boys she's met in the past, his life didn't revolve around money, just family.. and that's what she admired about him.
she doesn't know it now, but this decision is going to change her life forever.

However, Now that she was in cobra Kai, she would be competing in a world international championship, the sekai taikai. However, during her stay in cobra Kai, She made enemies with Kwon. Kwon had always teased her, always picking fights with her, whenever he could. Truth being, he wasn't fond of her, and neither were the rest of her teammates. But during their stay in Barcelona for the tournament, what if their hatred is replaced by something, like love?

Being the daughter of the tournament's director means having to attend the competition with no excuse. Of course there was a time where Maverick enjoyed going but after her incident the past year, she would've preferred to avoid it. Determined to make the best out of her time there she focuses on the competitors for this year's edition, stumbling across some interesting ones. She also reunites with many ghosts from her past but many new faces too.
