Years after the events of Until Dawn.

Chris Hartley, while facing constant nightmares surrounding his past and a recent divorce, runs into his teenage crush unexpectedly. He learns that despite her promising career in biology and great strides towards becoming an established author, the events of their time on the mountain have put her at a mental standstill, similar to his own.

He and Ashley must work together again to uncover what really happened that night, all those years ago, while dealing with reopened wounds and the truth behind century-long secrets that would have been better left alone.
