'Blood runs thicker than water' they say. Those who you share the same blood as - you know your family - are meant to be more important than those who don't. But it's ironic really, the way the saying got messed up over time until it means the complete opposite. The full saying is 'The blood of the covenant is thicker than the water of the womb'. That the blood from the bonds you share with your chosen family are thicker than the water from the covalent womb you share with your blood relations. Going from a family of 8 to 1 was a challenge for Amelia, but what happens when her 5 brothers try showing back up? Give this story a chance yk, I rate it a 10/10 so lmk if I'm biased or if it's generally that good :)

Blue grew up in an orphanage without any family of her own. On the other hand, Sam enjoys a life in a wealthy and loving family. What happens when their worlds collide? 🍀 Separated for over a decade, she met him again only to find a completely different person. "I don't have time to meet random girls" he said, which echoed in her head. . . . . Resting her head on Sam's lap, Blue asked, "Baby, what is the difference between family and relatives?" "Everyone related by blood is called a relative, whereas everyone related by heart is called family, just like us," Sam said with a smile.
