Adopted later than the others, Academy raised, Cassandra hadn't had to be told she was different from everyone, even her superpowered siblings. She had known it from the first moment she began to see faint colors seemingly envelop the people around her, or heard glimpses of faint thoughts associated with their emotions. For the ten years she lived at the academy with all of her siblings they were the glorious Umbrella Academy, beloved by the city and hailed as heroes.

Now, at only twenty two, Carrie's a has-been. Some nobody education major and receptionist. The most heroic thing she does nowadays is hold back from strangling her stupid boss. That is, until a death suddenly forces her and her siblings back together.

With twists, and turns, and a global apocalypse on the horizon, this is the biggest threat The Umbrella Academy has faced yet. Can they save the world this time? Or will their efforts ultimately be in vain?
