Ways to turn back

this is set in 1992 when six teens are told some information that they need to follow in order to solve a murder.

"I know you lot aren't the best of friends but you need to do this."

"Do what, Mrs Kensington?" Aster asked wary

"Have you ever heard of a doppelganger or look-a-like?"

"What's this got to do with us?" spoke Gabby, she was sort of hoping not to be in this conversation anymore.

"Well...you six have doppelgangers, I assume you have had eery feelings recently or seen the same person more than once?"

"How would you even know that." Missy said with a face of confusion and fear, looking back and fourth and the five others stood near her.

"To tell you straight, there has been a report by someone that a group of kids have been stalked and one of them has nearly been beaten to death. Since our school is a place for those studying education in the industry of criminal law, judgement and offences, the police wanted them to be sent there, to try blend in with society and not near there home town, our school was picked at random and ironically you lot have the exact same features of the six it happened to. So we will be transferring them here and you will be sent out as them, I know its not the best strategy but it will help gather information to the police and find the ones causing this. feel free to back out of this, but by tomorrow if you haven't told me so then you will be doing this. Alright."

"Just, Just how would we explain this to our parents?" Tebbie said bewildered.

"They've already been informed. And all have agreed, its just your say now."
