Nokorimono follows Nyemi Yukan, a 17-year-old Italian girl who moves to Japan to escape her troubled past and seek a fresh start. At her new school, she becomes captivated by Kyomi Kurai, a mysterious and emotionally guarded girl with a painful history. As Nyemi and Kyomi develop a deep, complicated bond, they both struggle with their pasts, identity, and the fear of opening up to each other. Nyemi feels torn between her growing love for Kyomi and her desire for independence, while Kyomi battles with her need to protect herself from further betrayal.
