Toga and Ochako were childhood friends, but one day Toga disappeared. Ochako was sad and confused. She didn't know where her friend went or why she left. Eventually Ochako forgot about Toga and made other friends, though Toga was sad and watching from the shadows. Ochako went to UA like the cannon, and Toga became a villain. Ochako and Toga finally met face to face for the first time in years when she was at the Summer training camp. Ever since then Ochako couldn't stop thinking about Toga, and every time that she did, her face flushed. She recognized Toga and felt a sense a familiarity and she was unsure as to why. Ochako tried to look into who Toga was and why she was familiar to her. Over the next several months at UA she kept having run ins with Toga in public when no one else was around. It was like Toga was stalking her. Over that time, Ochako remembered Toga, they started to talk and get to understand each other again. Ochako slowly began to develop feelings for Toga.
