A suspicion crept into her mind. "Pneumothorax kaya?" she murmured to herself, her medical training running through the possibilities. But after a few seconds, she shook her head. "Parang hindi naman..."

A presence beside her.

A shadow loomed over her shoulder.

She barely had time to process before a familiar voice spoke.

"Sa puso."

Aiah's entire body went rigid.

Her fingers froze, still holding the stethoscope against the man's chest. Her breath hitched, her head snapped toward the source-
