Dig In

You escaped from your hometown after 15 years. Once used to be a safe haven, now it's a quarantined zone heavily guarded at all corners. Ever since the Great Depression, life had been nothing but pain and suffering everyday, living to see another day is considered to be a miracle. You created a foolproof plan and escaped. You heard there's a diner which not only offers much more than your current job, but it also promises a better life than your so-called 'home'. It's too enticing to be true, but you don't care. You're hungry for the taste of freedom. Hence, you take your shot and applied a job there. You don't know what the future holds for you, but one thing's that for sure. You're safe... for now.
